Learning to Breathe (for adolescents)
Learning to Breathe is for adolescents. It is an interactive, mindfulness-based curriculum created by Patricia Broderick, PhD. L2B has proven to increase teenagers' capacity for emotion regulation, improve concentration, and stress reduction. This class runs 6 weeks and costs $250.00, which includes materials (sliding scale available--see below).
Mindfulness 101 is an 6 week class for adults who are seeking to reduce their stress, cultivate more peace and clarity, and gain insight into their lives. Participants will learn several mindfulness meditation practices and about the growing body of scientific knowledge that tells us how mindfulness meditation can enrich your life. The cost is $300, which includes materials (sliding scale available--see below). Call or email if you're interested, classes are coming soon!
Mindfulness Meeting is a one hour workshop. Participants will learn about the foundations of mindfulness practice and experience a brief, formal mindfulness meditation practice. This is a fun, quick way of growing your understanding of mindfulness in community with others.
Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy
MBCT is a group-based intervention designed to prevent a relapse of a depressive episode. It combines the practice of mindfulness with the tools of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Mindfulness for Professionals
Mindfulness for Professionals is a one hour workshop designed for groups seeking professional development. This workshop is for teachers, mental health workers, or professions with an interest in self-care, wellness or health.
